I\'d like my browser to have the ability to go to the next page of an article spanning multiple pages, by pressing a button on my keyboard (similar to pressing the Backspace button).

I imagine it to be a property of the webpage that can be read by the browser, which contains a link to the next page. The button would be connected to the action of reading the property and following the link contained therein.

In addition to implementing this feature into the browser, web developers would also have to add the property to their web pages for this to work.

I would like a way to remind/pressure me to leave the computer every hour to avoid deep vein thrombosis and eyestrain, and to get some fresh air.

I could do it in hardware, using a pressure switch under my seat cushion, but it would be neater as software.

It needs a way of detecting key presses and mouse clicks, ability to freeze screen unconditionally.

Importantly, the program WOULD NOT log actual keystrokes as this would upset anti-virus programs, but just note that activity was present.

My preferred algorithm is:

If there is keystroke/click activity in a 5-minute period, increment a counter.

If there is NO keystroke/click activity in the 5-minute period, zero the counter.

If the counter reaches 11, advise the user to take a break via audio and text message.

If the counter reaches 12 or more, insist the user take a break, as above, and freeze the screen for 10 sec, and continue to do this every few minutes until there is a 5 minute period with no activity.

Is anyone interested and able to provide this? Charles T.

ps. I am working on a massage cushion. It may be worth commercialising it to anyone interested...

I would like a feature that allows Firefox searches to :
- permit to launch searches in a sidebar.
- permit to search keywords in the document content (like GG toolbar but with the existing search tool Ctrl+F).
- permit to retrieve keywords in the page and purpose the most strong keywords found for improving search terms. Can use KGen to retrieve keywords (GNU). Can use a localized string to get ignored keywords.

I could do an extension but i think it would be better to do that directly into the standard Firefox version.
